Gabriela T. Rosado González

Gabriela T. Rosado González is an undergraduate Biology student from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. In her search for different social and scientific interest, she has participated in school organizations like MEDLIFE and the American Chemistry Society (ACS). Gabriela is a part of the Minority Access for Research Careers (MARC), program dedicated to enhance and provide opportunities to continue a career in science. Currently, she is part of Suranganie Dharmawardhane, PhD biochemistry laboratory at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus. Gabriela is interested in the evaluation of pharmacokinetics of the novel anti-metastatic drug MBQ-167 necessary for the continued development of this drug as a potential anti-cancer therapeutic. After graduation, she intends to complete a MD-PhD in biochemistry and do research in innovative Nano-drug delivery processes and its effect in the human body.
